We are looking for a marketing officer to help implement the agreed external marketing plans for our client and its divisions. A marketing degree or a minimum of two years’ experience working in either an agency or a client-side marketing department is essential. Principal accountabilities Implementation of marketing campaigns • Work with stakeholders including product lines and salesforce to plan, execute and measure campaigns to fit the agreed strategy • Copywriting and editing of literature, web copy, campaign materials as required • Liaise with third party suppliers in the implementation of campaigns, including briefing and managing agencies, printers and fulfilment houses • Manage the production of printed and other material including budgeting, buying and artwork management • Work with internal departments to ensure clear targeting of campaigns and monitoring of results • Managing and reporting on deadlines achieved and activities completed • Reporting back to the business on campaign monitoring • The role will include some manual fulfilment of mailing campaigns, organisation and attendance at events, and other duties required to deliver our marketing activity.
Skills and abilities • IT literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Sharepoint • Excellent organisational skills with proven attention to detail • Ability to work on own initiative, managing own workload and time, whilst developing effective and supportive relationships with colleagues and suppliers • Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and across a variety of departments and sites • Good command of English and excellent copywriting and editing skills • High standards of presentation and delivery.
