To further cement their reputation as an organisation that advocates fresh, healthy products, they contribute to the Agricultural Sector by growing and producing their own vegetables and fruits at farm level. Their core values, passion and enthusiastic work force have developed strong relationships with many of the UK’s leading supermarkets. As a Procurement Manager you will: •Be responsible for the sourcing and buying of high quality produce internationally, ensuring the best value prices are secured to deliver sustainable, profitable growth. •Communicate effectively with producers across continents, continuously developing your market knowledge to aid in the company’s entrance to emerging markets. •Negotiate supplier’s proposals, develop annual supply agreements and agree on seasonal programs. •Ensure a smooth, uninterrupted flow of goods from suppliers to consumers, whilst developing lasting, honest relationships with international organisations. •Reduce company wastage and increase Green reports by minimising inventory investment and loss.


The ideal candidate: •Will have 5+ years’ experience in a Buyers role, having managed international relationships throughout your career. •Be educated with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area. •Have a full UK Driver’s License, with a willingness to travel frequently being essential. •Fluent English is essential, with French or Portuguese being extremely advantageous. •Be enthusiastic regarding the Agribusiness and Food sectors, with a willingness to learn and a drive to succeed.
