The opportunity exists to join a highly successful team of Agricultural Specialist Business Relationship Managers covering Devon and Somerset. Key responsibilities include: - Ensure that the risk and reward of assets within the team is effectively managed ensuring that all lending and contingent liabilities meet the Bank's asset quality and policy requirements. - Promote the Bank's image in the local community/market with a range of stakeholders including influential and high value clients in order to develop business. - Role model client centric behaviour and challenge non client centric behaviour when observed. - Identifying client needs and develop stratagies and solutions to meet those needs, leveraging group partners and products where appropriate. - Respond to clients key moments of truth including lending which cannot be fulfilled by the client services team. - Responsibility for all income, product sales and risk within thier own portfolio of clients. - Be seen as the "go to" banker in the area. High profile with external influencers and the local business community to achieve the Bank's aim of being number one in the local market working closely with Retail and other internal clients. - Ensure activities complies with internal and external policies (including credit), asset quality, standards, reporting, legal, stationary and/or regulatory requirements.
The Successful Applicant The successful Agriculture Relationship Manager candidate will have strong experience within a business banking environment, including lending. They will have a strong track record of account growth through lending and have a working understanding around the lending process and financial regulations. Although not essential a background within the agriculture market place would be an advantage.
